Advising investor clients with no franchising, nor food sector experience, on structuring complex multi-country master franchise structure to take over existing, and develop future, sub-franchised and master franchisee company-owned outlets, in a new JV company and new local subsidiaries in each country, with a major US restaurant sector brand and US $100,000,000 investment, as part of its European reorganisation to enhance performance and accelerate market penetration. Advising client team on corporate and agreement structuring, negotiation of all key agreements and terms; liaising with tax advisors to optimize structuring; and taking local legal advice in jurisdictions concerned from EFL member franchise law specialists.
