Client:

Major and very well-known US quoted company with company-owned f+b outlets and some international operations.

 

Project:

Advising on implications of introducing franchising in parallel with company-owned operations.

 

Advised on:

Alternative business models and pros and cons of franchising; financial, cultural and change implications for the group of introducing franchising to independent third parties into “big corporate” environment, as part of multi-disciplinary consultancy team; once decided to proceed, developed all franchise documentation and assistance with implementation and rollout, including spinning off company-owned units, initially in the UK market.

 

Team:

Key members of US and UK headquarters staffs; working also with in-house legal team and specifically identified consultants for particular issues.
