Many of us have been involved in franchise law for 20, 30 or even 40 years. We have seen franchise law evolve and we have seen many attempts to uniform franchise regulation.
However, we have learned that franchising is regulated differently in different regions around the world, in different countries within Europe and even in different states within the United States. Even though franchising is very similar wherever you go around the globe and even though franchising is truly international, legislators and the legal profession treat franchising differently depending on where the franchised business is established.
